I don’t know why I’ve waited so long. Anyway, it is here now 4 you. This article, published in the US under the title The Roots of Anglo-American Intellectual Property Law in Roman Law, is now available at scribd. The article is an excerpt from my postgraduate thesis, entitled Integral Protection of Intellectual Property (unedited). The Roots article encompasses some elements of my thinking about the intellectual property and legal systems in general, such as the conviction that the differences between the civil and common law systems are not determinative, and actually pale besides their similarities. I tackled this already in this blog in a post entitled MY LAW, YOUR LAW. Let me know what do you think.
