Digital stereo amp, toslink optical in from a dedicated iTunes server, remote control from the iPad & iPhones, sound OK+, altogether nice+++

What it says is that after recording my couple K of CDs into a hard disk I7ve bought a Mac Mini and dedicated it as as an iTunes server. It is connected via a Toslink digital optical cable to a new stereo amp that has a direct digital in optical connection and my music now only gets analogue when it gets out to the speakers. The sound is good and the process was fun. Controlling of the Mac Mini via Remote or Plex software is pure magic via my gadgets. I hated CDs all the way since the 1989, so this is a liberation, a kid LPs owner’s dream. Welcome to the future brothers and sisters…
